This picutre here would be of Kelowna, Canada. The first time I was ever here was when I was around the age of 6. My family has many time shares all over, so in the summers we always take two big vacations. The year that I was around the age of 6, my parents invested in the timeshare that was in Kelowna. The long drive to the Canadian border didn't have my mind set that it was going to be very fun, but I was proved wrong. The atmosphere of Kelowna is I think what I like best. We stay at a resort that is on Lake Okanagan that has an amazing view, expecially when there is a sunset out over the harbor. We are pretty centrally located when we stay there, so its really easy to just go on the boardwalk to go have a bite to eat or look around at the shops, and then go out for ice cream or stop at one of their bakerys (which are super good). Being down by the lake, there is alot of geese waddling around wanting to be fed. They are fun to feed bread until you step barefooted on their poop. There is a sandy beach area that is to the left of our resort as well where you always see people playing volleyball, tanning, swimming, or any other game for fun. You can even see the resort in the picture. It was in Kelowna that I first saw the game of Lacrosse. I even got to go down onto the rink they played on and I got to keep a ball that they used. Being 6, I thought that was the coolest thing! Anywhere that I have been from Montana, Colorado, Washington, Idaho, California, Nevada, Utah, Florida, Wyoming, and Arizona, Canada would have to be the one spot I love to go. Well I just thought I would share a little about my favorite place to be. If you ever have the chance, go :]

Starting Again

So I have came to notice that this whole blogging thing isn't so bad.

Spring is fast approaching and the sports have already started. This time last school year I would be out running bases on a softball field, and the year before that I would be running around a track. But this year, I am doing neither. I have always played softball since I was little, starting at the age of 5 and I love it. Only 3 years did I find that I am capable at running long distances. My freshman year I decided to go out for Cross Country and I continued that through my sophomore year. I plan to run throughout high school. But when it comes to my spring sport, I have simply chose to take this season off and not play softball or run track. I will start up next spring and run track. There is several reasons for my decision that no one really gets and they always are asking why, its simply my life and I want to look back on it and know that I did what pleased me, not everyone else. After the state meet that ended my wrestling season I knew that I would be training again for the Cross Country season ahead of me. I have nearly 5 months until my season starts and runnning has already became a part of my schedule. I was looking at quotes for a project and I came across ones that sorta inspire me to push myself no matter how bad I want to stop. There is some that I just like too.

People ask why I run. I say "if you have to ask, you will never understand." It is something only those select few know. Those who put themselves through pain, but know, deep down, how good it really feels. -Erin Leonard

Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about. -PattiSue Plumer

Act like a horse. Be dumb. Just run. -Anonymous

Mental will is a muscle that needs excercise , just like the muscles of the body. -Lynn Jennings

Many people shy away from hills. They make it easy on themselves, but that limits their improvement. The more you repeat something, the stronger you get. -Joe Catalano

When you win, say nothing. When you lose, say less. -Paul Brown

Learn to run when feeling the pain: then push harder. -William Segei

Well here goes the first blog I have ever wrote!

I have never really liked the thought of blogging, so Im not real thrilled to be doing this. To be honest, I have never had the want to even try it because I thought it was all kind of lame, and who really wants to take time out of their day to type of stuff about themselves or their day, their life, pets, family, something thats going on with them, and all their problems? But I guess alot of people do. I'm not saying thats all people write about. It could be interesting stuff that they just want to share with people, and thats totally cool with me but the thing that bugs me most about blogging or anything really thats public like Facebook and all that stuff, from what I have seen (which isnt very much) is some people, mainly girls, just sit there and type about how bad their life is and bad boyfriend situations and how they hate their parents, or how they are in pain or hurt. Yeah congrats, we all have things wrong with us and problems, but some just dont strive for sympathy like others do. This whole blogging thing could prove me wrong on my perspective and it could actually be fun...who knows. Time will only tell, so I guess I better find out!
